Thank you for telling about more examples of the rampant anti-black racism in Waterloo Region, Anam. I wish the best for Debs. I also wish those who harass and threaten would be stopped.

Waterloo is a white supremacist city. To exist here is to accept and be part of white supremacy. The universities are white supremacist institutions - Casteists whose caste privilege is above a certain threshold are co-opted by these institutions, while those whose caste is considered to be of inferior value are shunted to Conestoga college, or brusquely told that they should "go kill themselves" while accepted and enrolled as full-time university students.

Waterloo has never been a safe, positive space for me - I am a non-attached, non-violent, peaceful student of Buddhadhamma. The libraries here fail to serve as positive, peaceful spaces - the only space where I can get a sense of any peace, calm, and tranquility is deep in a forest, especially when nobody is around. The air in this city rots with the stench of form of backwardness known as colorism.

These folks here travelled out here, abused and violated Indigenous peoples, burying their disrespected corpses on the land, built up an infrastructure and then took in dehumanized people like myself, migrating from the inferno of the Chinese-genocide known as Singapura, gave us OSAP loans to be traumatized further at institutions such as University of Waterloo, shunted us onto ODSP without caring for how we got into such a state and now wrings its hands about a "lack of data" regarding racism and associated bigotry. There are wonderful people who have been living out here for their entire lives who have been diagnosed with cancer, gone through treatment and denied several times for ODSP, while I am on this repulsive and disgusting system thanks only to the casteist patriarchy of Brahminism that has essentially developed and entire sub-country here.

Thank you Salem, Thank you Anam.
